How to Give Owner/Moderator Permissions on Rust

Give yourself and your moderators right premissions on Rust Server.

Panel Console Method

  1. Go to Paradise Panel

  2. Write ownerid “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_user_name” “optional_reason” for owner permissions.

    Write moderatorid ` “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_name” “optional_reason” ` for moderator permissions

  3. Type server.writecfg to save the changes.

Server Config File Method

  1. Go to File Manager

  2. Navigate to /server/Rust/cfg/

  3. Open or create a new file with the following name and extension: users.cfg

  4. Write ownerid “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_user_name” “optional_reason” for owner permissions.

    Write moderatorid “64_bit_steam_id” “optional_name” “optional_reason” for moderator permissions

  5. Save file and restart the server

Steps to get the 64SteamId:

  1. Go to the Steam app

  2. Click on your profile icon and select Account Details
